OBJECTIVES
The objective of the secondment to the UNiversity of Bordeaux is to write diffraction gratings using femtosecond lasers in silver doped oxyde based galsses and analyse the optical and structural changes.
TASKS
- Study the new glass compositions and adjust the silver content to allow good inscription using the femtosecond laser system.
- Adjust the inscription conditions.
RESULTS
The expected result is to demonstrate the possibility to get sensors with the new glass compositions transparent in the middle IR region (up to 6 micrometers).
